I loved this book!
Oh my goodness, there was such a connection of relationships, suspense, imagination, and more all tangled into the pages. I think I might try to read The Shadows, another one of North's books, as his writing style is a perfect match and pace for me! The attention to detail and stories overlapping was done beautifully, I know I'll be revisiting this book come winter time.
I think my favorite part of the story was the connection between the father and his father - truly a story of parenthood and is struggles within. As a single mother the single father’s story hit me in all the right spots playing on my emotions and bringing me further into the story and its mystery. I highly recommend for those that love detailed scenery and hidden revelations.
